Political Campaigns
Hammons and Associates has a long and successful track record with political campaigns. Most of our efforts are centered around regional contests involving city, county, judicial and legislative seats. We are selective in the campaigns we choose to become involved in, preferring to work with candidates who have distinguished themselves by articulating positions that would ensure everyone in a given community would be fairly served. Our first political campaign was crafted in 1976 and resulted in unseating a three-term state senator. Our most recent was re-electing a two-term mayor.
The H&A approach is really pretty simple. We interview the candidate and make a hard assessment of his or her ability to not only win, but possess the skill sets to best serve the public’s interest. Once we’re onboard, we focus on developing the messages and strategies essential to winning. Sounds simple, but it’s hard work in a compressed timeline. Unlike many marketing efforts, political campaign results speak for themselves. There is always a winner and loser. We prefer the former, and more often than not we score the win.
